There have been a rash of software synths to hit the market in recent years and I decided to acquire this one. In all fairness you do need a reasonably powered system to run this to its full potential; none the less it really is impressive and actually quite simplistic to program.

The standard sound set that comes with the package is an impressive 8GB worth of samples, you might say it goes a little beyond your general midi patch list. What really impressed me were the UVI sound cards that are available for it. I currently have the 'synths anthology', 'xtreme fx' and 'mayhem of loops' packs.
