What would it be like to own all the classic vintage synths used by the top producers and artists on records and compositions throughout the late 70's, 80's and 90's. For myself I would be in DJ producer heaven and would never leave the studio.

There are two considerations that affect the vision, firstly the cost of acquring an original synth as featured by Arturia would set you back some formidable coin and secondly the space they would occupy may denote the addition of an entire room to your house, studio or basement.

Those very clever chaps at Arturia have come up with a solution that is utterly brilliant. They have taken the original synths and mapped them in a digital and graphical sense to produce virtual entities that can be used in professinal sequencer applications or even as standalone modules.

In essence all you need is a good master keyboard with a nice array of pots, sliders, aftertouch, modulation and pitch bend wheels, plug it in via MIDI to the computer and you have yourself the next best thing to the original synth.
